Microblading FAQ's

MICROBLADING FAQ'S

How long does the microblading last?

This varies from person to person, everyone's results last a different amount of time. A color refresh is recommended on average from 12-18 months after your initial procedure.

How do touch ups work?

Microblading takes two appointments to complete. The second appointment is a touch up at least 4-6 weeks after the first session.
 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How long does it take to do?

The initial procedure will take about 2 hours and your touch up appointment will take from 1 hour to 1 hour 30 min.
 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Does the microblading procedure hurt?

We have anesthetics which is used to make you as comfortable and pain free as possible. However,  there are many cases that results heal much better if clients skip the topical anesthetic. The lines tend to look more crisp and heal better. Every client will have the opportunity to choose during their appointment.
 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How long is the recovery or healing time?

The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks depending on your body regeneration and age. Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The pigment will appear very natural looking immediately after the procedure. The color of the pigment will appear much darker the next day. Note that because of natural skin regeneration, after recovery period (peeling), brows might appear lighter than original. This might give you the impression that color is fading too quickly. Often even with proper care, clients may lose original hair strokes which make brows look uneven. This is absolutely normal. That is the reason why clients need a touch up 4-6 weeks after the first visit. Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. However, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. Never rub the treated area as it will disturb the skin from natural healing.

How do you choose the shape?

We choose your custom shape and style together. At the beginning of your appointment we will discuss what you want your new brows to look like (pictures help as references) Then we will come up with a design shape specific to your wants & symmetry. We will make measurements to make them as symmetrical as possible.
 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How do you choose a color?

We choose a color together by applying small amounts of different colored pigments to the skin near to your brows and selecting the best match for your skin tone, features and personal preference. We choose a color that matches your natural brow hair. So remember if you tint your brows regularly you MUST tint them 2-3 days prior to your appointment. Also, remember while choosing your color it will faded up to 50% after your first visit.
 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What types of pigments do you use?

We use pigments which are made specifically for permanent cosmetics and microblading.

After your procedure, the aftercare ointment will be applied and left on for 24 hours after the procedure. After the 24 hours, we recommend washing with baby shampoo morning and night. After washing with baby shampoo, pat dry with a paper towel and apply a small amount of the ointment we give you.
