Policies

At Christopher Stephens we want all our guests to be comfortable.  We want you to escape from the world in our warm relaxing environment.  As guest comfort is a high priority for us we want to make sure everyone is comfortable in our surroundings.  We strive to provide a relaxing and professionally performed service to all our guests.  If you have any Questions about any policies we may have please contact us.


METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.  
We do not accept checks.

CHILDREN AND THEIR SAFETY

We love children, but even you need a break.  Please make arrangements accordingly as small children are not permitted in the salon and spa service areas. When bringing young children into the salon and spa, please provide supervision for them in the form of a friend, spouse or older child which can remain with them in the reception area.

ACCESSIBILITY TO SERVICE AREAS

Upon arrival please remain in the reception area until your service provider greets you. Out of respect for other clientele and staff members only clients having a service performed at that time are permitted in any service area, all others may remain in the reception seating area.

GUEST COMFORT

The following complementary beverages are provided during your visit:  water, coffee, hot tea and iced tea.  Free Internet access is provided in our reception area to keep you in touch with the world.

SERVICE EXCLUSIONS

Sorry, we do no allow clients to blow dry their own hair.  Since we specialize on working with natural hair we do not perform services on hair extensions, hair pieces or wigs.  We require your hair to be shampooed before cutting.  We do not do dry cuts.

GRATUITY POLICY

If you feel that your service provider has gone above and beyond and you wish to show your appreciation with a gratuity it would be much appreciated.   Providing a gratuity to your salon professional is always optional, never feel obligated.  At Christopher Stephens we do allow clients to place gratuities on credit cards for their convenience and the gratuity will be included in each service providers next paycheck.  If you wish for your service provider to receive their gratuity immediately please provide them with cash.

SCHEDULING

Appointments are scheduled to allow ample time to complete your service. Please help us by arriving 15 minutes prior to your appointment  time.  Arriving late may compromise the time available to complete your service.

CELLULAR PHONES

Upon arriving, please turn your cell phone ringer off in consideration of others.

LOCKERS

Lockers are provided to protect your valuables. Please utilize this amenity to ease any safety concerns you may have for your personal items.

CANCELLATIONS

Please respect our time.  Provide us with a 24-hour notice for cancellations of all salon and spa services.
